How to make your own crawfish traps only using plastic bottles and zip ties! These do it yourself traps take about 10 minutes to make and are super fun to use! Good crawdad bait includes: dead fish, fish guts, cat food & raw meat!

Oregon Coast, Day 4: Had a great time exploring new beaches and catching sea perch off a rocky point! Then I cooked them up over a fire and just had a great morning exploring around! I love the Oregon Coast! Catch n' cook on a beach is not something a lot of people think of to do on their vacation, but you should! It is so much fun!

Had a blast kayak bass fishing these scummy ponds with topwaters! The biggest bass of the evening came on a LIVETARGET SUNFISH! The other fish came on a zoom horny toad. We only about an hour and a half to fish but made the most of it! My dad was working away from home so I decided to join him and take him fishing after work.
The real fishing trip is tomorrow so stay tuned for another bass fishing video soon!

So we did not actually commit a misdemeanor, but we did commit 2 infractions. Ed got no ticket at all even though he was fishing with an expired day license (day licenses don’t actually last a 24 hour day, they only last until midnight????). The fish and game officer told Ed that he was “glad he was getting back into fishing”, but then slammed Micah and I with a $72 fine! Micah said it was straight up racism.

All in all, I guess it’s not a big deal. Fish and game is usually SO CHILL around here. They eventually had to tag us with something sometime.

The good news is Ed is really into fishing and the catch n’ cook now! We already have another trip planned to a different spot so we can redeem ourselves. Stay tuned and subscribe if you are not already! Tight lines!

Oregon Coast Day 1: My old man and I found dungeness crabs while walking around in the surf on our beach! We struck the mother-load as we got closer to some rocks and were about to start crabbing with traps when we realized we were close to a wildlife refuge! We have to do our crabbing outside of that area but the rest of the coast is open! Plenty of crabbing coming up this week! Thank you for watching!
