So we did not actually commit a misdemeanor, but we did commit 2 infractions. Ed got no ticket at all even though he was fishing with an expired day license (day licenses don’t actually last a 24 hour day, they only last until midnight????). The fish and game officer told Ed that he was “glad he was getting back into fishing”, but then slammed Micah and I with a $72 fine! Micah said it was straight up racism.

All in all, I guess it’s not a big deal. Fish and game is usually SO CHILL around here. They eventually had to tag us with something sometime.

The good news is Ed is really into fishing and the catch n’ cook now! We already have another trip planned to a different spot so we can redeem ourselves. Stay tuned and subscribe if you are not already! Tight lines!

Schooling smallmouth and catching catfish while bundled up in a sleeping bag! Random fishing adventures with my best friend on Brownlee Reservoir in Idaho!
